JOB ROLE: IT STRATEGY AND PLANNING ANALYST (ITSPA)

Grade alignment: Snr. Manager- Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather all data required for the effective and timely completion of project deliverables
  • Develop project quality standards and templates
  • Identify Project Risks and develop a risk mitigation plan
  • Initiate the development of all project deliverables such as Technical Architecture Plans, Capacity Plans, Risk Mitigation Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans
  • Assist external consultants in the development of the Bank’s IT Strategy
  • Perform all project management functions such as monitoring of the budget, timelines, filing of project deliverables back up of project deliverables and development of project status reports
  • Review and redesign business process flows and User Interaction Elements
  • Document issues, findings and recommendations from business process review.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES REQUIRED

  • Basic knowledge of Strategic Planning and Management
  • Operating systems such as MS Windows 2000/2003, Unix Solaris, Linux etc

  • A fair knowledge of banking especially central banking

  • Goal Oriented
  • Good written and oral communication ability

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • First degree or HND in Computer Science and computer related disciplines (Computer Engineering, Computer with Economics, Computer with Mathematics, MIS & Electrical/ Electronics.
  • Post Graduate Degree in management is an added advantage.
  • Membership of professional management or information systems bodies is required e.g. NIM, NCS, CPN,

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 6 years cognate experience at least 3 years must have been spent in managerial position.
